As a young, successful, and rapidly growing company, we are looking to add a Lab Technician into our positive culture and work environment.
Job Description
The lab technician position will report directly to the Director of Operations and be a hands-on contributor in the lab. Responsibilities include managing projects from start to finish by perform package testing including transportation simulation, climatic conditioning, accelerated aging, and integrity inspections (bubble leak, dye leak, peel strength, visual, dimensional measurement, etc.). Use of good laboratory practices (GLP) and good documentation practices (GDP) is always required as the lab technicians shall author reports for review by management. Other duties include preventative maintenance to equipment, shipping and receiving, general cleaning and upkeep of the lab, and other assigned duties. Individuals in this position have a direct impact on the Medical Industry and are required to operate ethically and with patient safety as the highest priority.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years in a technical or quality field preferred
- Some college, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Training will be provided
Compensation, Benefits, and Structure
This position is full-time with a competitive hourly rate based on skills and experience. This position is MondayFriday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance are available on the first of the month following first day of employment. In addition, PCL also offers a 401(k) plan with matching employer contributions, company-paid life and disability insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off.
